Submission Guidelines
The Senior Voice publishes interviews, reviews, fiction, creative non fiction, essays, opinions and poetry by the over fifty community. Our bi-monthly newspaper is distributed into the counties of Collin, Dallas and Denton in North Texas.
Our readers are made up of individuals who have crossed that magical marker and are beginning to pursue new dreams, vanish old dragons, and step up with an ‘ageless’ aging attitude. In other words, digging life after fifty! However in pursuit of continued life-long-learning and exploration of newly created avenues, topics such as preparing for retirement, downsizing, caring of aging parents and other relative themes enter into a long and well lived life. Psychologists, gerontologists and experts in the expanding aging field, submit articles that educate and help support some of life’s more difficult decisions.
The Senior Voice accepts queries and submission via e-mail. Please send to cbutler@theseniorvoice.com. Be sure to include complete contact information, including mailing address and phone, in the article file as well as in your e-mail message. If you would like to submit via post, please send to Carol Butler, Publisher, The Senior Voice, 2516 Daybreak Drive, Dallas, Texas 75287.
